My broccoli leaves are turning red. Is this a good thing or a bad thing?
I'm very sensitive about my garden, so it makes me sad to think that I'm killing my plants. By the way, Kitty killed 3 of the broccoli plants, and a wind storm killed another of the plants, so now I'm down to four. I can't afford to lose another. I need broccoli.

The only info I could find on problems with broccoli is that you shouldn't plant it in the same place as last year and then there's certain bugs to watch out for. There are some varieties that have red leaves so I'm pretty clueless here. Sorry.
